Beyond Storia

You’re signing up for a 4-month experience/ commitment. Everyone participating will have previously attended Storia Summit (an amazing community). There will be space for up to 16 people. 

However,  the most intimate, potentially challenging part of the experience–the review and critique of your writing–will happen in your pod, a group of just 3-4 people with whom you will be together for the whole 4 month experience. Your podmates will likely be from your timezone.

Each month one person in the pod submits a chapter or book proposal or pages of writing (up to 30 pages total, double-spaced). Naomi will review, edit, make suggestions on this writing, and then in the monthly 90-minute Pod Meeting, will talk through the feedback. The vision is that everyone in the pod can learn from the feedback and extrapolate/ apply it to their own writing/process. Unlike in a traditional writing workshop, where peer feedback is central, here the majority of the time will be dedicated to the professional edit.
So over the 4 months, each person in a pod will have one text reviewed, while also experiencing and learning from the other 3 text reviews.

Additionally Ariane will host a monthly full group Q&A (for all the pods together), answering questions about anything you have on your hearts related to writing/books/publishing.

There will also be weekly silent 120-minute co-writing sessions hosted by Naomi where anyone from the 16 can join and write together, because we've seen that just being in that space and knowing you're all working simultaneously does create accountability and productivity.

You will also be invited to join a slack channel, where you can post your questions to the community. 

As we're designing it, you could keep signing up for subsequent 4-month periods (although the members of your pod/cohort might change) until your book is finished.
