It’s time to write your book. We’ve observed authors held back by: lack of accountability, lack of technique, lack of feedback, and lack of self-belief. We have designed Beyond Storia to support you with all of these things — so that you get the book done.

In our experience, having a community that you can rely on to support you is what makes the difference between writing and finishing.

You can start in January, April, July or October. We have learned from previous groups that trust-building is key. So you will join a group of smart, ambitious and caring Storia graduates for three month cohorts. Your cohort will become your trusted peers; they will give you feedback on your texts, hold you accountable and support you through writing successes and challenges. After three months you can continue onto the next cohort, take a break or drop out.

The core elements of the re-designed programme are:

  1. Monthly Q&A with Ariane answering questions about anything you have on your hearts related to writing/books/publishing.

  2. Weekly co-writing to help you commit to your writing, develop good habits and structure

  3. Every other week, during this session, there is a check-in to help you set goals and stick to them and get to know your peers

  4. On the alternate weeks Naomi leads a mini masterclass on nonfiction craft and technique to help you hone your writing skills. We will tackle subjects like voice, tone, pace, narration and storytelling as well as more practical things like how to do research and book proposals

  5. You will be put into a group of 3-5 other Storia buddies so that you can meet regularly and give each other feedback on your texts

  6. A community hub on slack, with weekly prompts and technical inputs 


Peer-feedback has proven to be very valuable to our previous cohorts. If you additionally want feedback from Naomi or Ariane you can book with us directly.

To accommodate multiple time zones:

2-hour Co-Writing sessions / 6pm CET every Wednesday*

Q&A hosted by Ariane / 6pm CET first Sunday per month*

How much does it cost?

120 USD / 100 EUR per month

You will pay for three months at the beginning of each cohort  

What if I need more support?


You can book individual coaching/consultancy with Naomi during the program at a reduced hourly rate.
